MOROCCO IS GREAT THE WHOLE YEAR
Morocco offers 350 days of sunshine per year, fantastic weather, warm water, and waves all year round, along with a wide range of surfing options for all levels.
What's special about Morocco is that there are waves all year round. Especially for beginners, there's hardly a day without waves at any beach. For advanced surfers, the best time to surf in Morocco is from September to the end of April. In winter, Morocco's many pointbreaks receive the most swell, such as Anchor Point, which is among the world's best surf spots. However, there is already consistent swell in Morocco from September to April.
LOCATION
Vibe Surf Morocco is located in the heart of the small Berber Village of Tamraght, situated between the bustling city of Agadir and the famous surfer village of Taghazout.
From the Vibe Surf Camp, it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach and surf spot. Within a 12-minute walk, you can reach three popular surf spots: Crocros, Devils Rock, and Banana Point. Just next to the camp, you'll find several nice cafes, restaurants, and shops.
Conveniently located 40 minutes from Agadir International Airport, it's a short hop (2-4 hours) from most central European cities. It's the closest place for any European surfer to enjoy year-round warm water, perfect waves, and a unique cultural experience...

What Our Clients are Saying
Loved our stay at Vibe Surf Marocco! From Yassin's warm welcome to Bachir's kind and helpful nature, we felt very welcome. Everything was perfectly organized for us. Thank you again! Pascal Mathis26. April, 2026. 🏄♂️ THE PACKAGE I stayed at Vibe Surf Camp for two and a half weeks between August and September. I purchased the weekly surf package, which includes accommodation, three meals a day (lunch is usually a sandwich at the beach), surfing equipment (board and wetsuit), and transportation to the surf spots. The taxi to and from Agadir Airport was also included. Initially, I booked for two weeks, but I decided to extend my stay a few more days because I was making real progress in surfing and genuinely enjoying the company of my hosts. 👥 THE PEOPLE During my stay, I met two truly wonderful people: Bachir and Abdellah. Bachir takes care of everything inside the hostel, while Abdellah was my surf instructor. After just a few days, it felt natural to call them both friends—their hospitality is overwhelming, and you quickly feel like part of the family. Bachir doesn’t speak English fluently (though he’s improving!), but you’ll always find a way to communicate with him. His breakfasts are unmatched, and he’s incredibly easygoing and always very helpful with anything you need. Thanks to Abdellah, I made real progress in surfing. For him, being an instructor isn’t just a job—it’s a passion. When he sees you trying and improving, he’s genuinely happy and cheers you on. He always keeps an eye on you and gives the best advice. Your job is simply to listen to him! He’s also a great friend outside of surf sessions—always attentive to your needs and making sure you’re having a good time. He even spontaneously organizes beach bonfires in the evenings and trips to nearby villages. 📍 THE LOCATION The hostel is located in what I believe is the best area of Tamraght. It’s the closest you can get to the beach—you just need to cross the road. It’s also very close to good restaurants and a pharmacy. I chose Tamraght over Taghazout because it’s a quieter and more relaxed place. 🏡 THE ACCOMMODATION The place is cozy, though not luxurious. You won’t find a rooftop like many other hostels, but there’s a nice ground-floor terrace. It’s quite clean—just keep in mind it’s a beachside location, so you’ll find a bit of sand here and there. The rooms are spacious. They don’t have direct windows to the outside, but a small window opens onto the central hall. Thanks to this setup and the region’s pleasant climate, the room temperature was always perfect. Francesco Saracino16. October, 2025. A Week of Pure Magic at VibeSurf 🌊🌞 I stayed at VibeSurf in Tamraght for a week, and I can genuinely say it was an outstanding, heart-opening experience. I chose this surf camp because of the family vibe and the authenticity it radiated. I was welcomed with open arms by the local team. Abdullah, my surf instructor, made my entire stay unforgettable. He wasn’t just a teacher — he was friendly, open, grounded, and full of joy. He took his time to connect, always made sure I felt supported in the water and outside of the surf sessions, he made sure I got to meet and hang out with the local community. He’s wild in the best way — fun-loving, full of life, and always up for a good time. Bashir, our host, created such a peaceful rhythm in the house. He cooked with so much care — from delicious shakshouka to traditional Moroccan tagines, everything was made with love. Even the tea rituals felt sacred, shared with devotion and warmth. What I appreciated most was the deep sense of hospitality, presence, and care that these people embodied. I visited during low season which meant I had even more time to connect with the locals. If you’re looking for a surf experience that’s more than just waves — this is the place. Back at VibeServe in Tamraght for the second time and wow… what a week! 🌊✨ Surf sessions that left me buzzing, food that made me so happy, and the best vibes with the most incredible people. Every day was an adventure, every night full of laughter and connection. Honestly, it feels less like a surf camp and more like a little family I get to come back to. Already counting the days until the next time! 🫶 Alexandra Madleniak28. September, 2025. We spent one week at Vibe Surf Morocco. It was a very nice stay, and the food was always delicious. In some places, it could have been a bit cleaner, especially in the bathroom. The daily surf lessons with Abdellah were particularly enjoyable. He is a very good surf teacher we were all standing at the first day. Abdellah is very warm-hearted, hospitable, and cheerful, which made every day a wonderful experience. Greta Lebeck17. August, 2025. Now that I am back home after travelling for weeks I can say - Vibe Surf Camp Morocco was the highlight of the trip! First planned to stay there 5 nights, but after meeting all those wonderful people in Tamraght I decided to stay one more night, and only if I could I would have stayed there even more. Bashir, Abdullah, you are amazing, thank you for making me feel like home! Your hospitality and kindness are hard to describe, you make the place wanted to come back to. I am looking forward to be back to my 2nd home ♥️ SHUKRAN! V V28. July, 2025. Olmo Baldoni17. May, 2025. I had an incredible time at vibe surf hostel! The surfing has been great and we went on many other cool trips together with Abdullah, who is an incredibly nice and funny guy and a great teacher! The atmosphere at the hostel is great, and so was the food :) don't expect a 5 star hotel but rather a place where you feel like home Cedric Hegglin21. April, 2025. I don’t even know where to start my time at Vibe Surf Morocco was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed like family. The environment was so warm and relaxed, with such a good energy flowing through everything the ocean, the people, the place itself. Every single person I met there was amazing. The team is not only super professional, but genuinely kind and passionate about what they do. Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced surfer, they make sure you’re having the time of your life, both in and out of the water. The surf lessons were perfectly organized, and the instructors were incredibly patient, supportive, and fun. I learned so much, laughed a lot, and felt totally safe and encouraged the whole time. Beyond surfing, the vibes were just unbeatable delicious food, beautiful sunsets, chill evenings, and endless good conversations. I honestly didn’t want to leave. I’d come back in a heartbeat and recommend Vibe Surf Morocco to anyone looking for not just a surf camp, but a full-on soul-refreshing experience. Already dreaming of the next time!
